Tlab is a collective of font research and development experts that pioneers new directions in visual design through innovative interpretations and diverse experiments in typography. "The fundamental purpose of typographic expression is to ensure that the content conveyed through type not only fosters aesthetic resonance with the viewer but also faithfully communicates the intentions of the information provider." Rooted in the teachings of the late master Jin-Pyung Kim, we uphold a sincere and precise approach, delivering high-quality results with clear and compelling designs. We believe that typography grounded in strong fundamentals leads to a more convenient, beautiful, and functionally valuable society, and we put this belief into practice.

Jikji is named after <Jikji Simche Yojeol> Jikji Simche Yojeol, a World Heritage Site, is the world's first book made with metal type. We want to provide a variety of beautiful premium fonts by inheriting the noble spirit and technology of printing the world's first metal type book.

Universal Thirst

Universal Thirst is a type foundry that specialises in Indic and Latin scripts. It was set up in 2016 by designer and engineer duo Gunnar Vilhjálmsson and Kalapi Gajjar, who draw on their contrasting visual heritage to offer a unique, dual perspective on type. Universal Thirst creates distinctive retail and bespoke typefaces tailored for both local and international brands, particularly those doing business in South Asia.
